PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist the parking of a vehicle in easily understood manner. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is parked between white lines 3 in a parking area 2, an image picked up by a camera unit 10 is displayed on an information display 4, and a movement estimation curve 5 corresponding to an angle of a steering 7 is also displayed to provide the easily-understood driving assist. The movement estimation curve 5 is added to the image picked up by he camara unit 10 by a parking asssit EUC 6 on the basis of the signals from an angle detecting sensor 12 detecting the angular displacement state of a steering shaft 11 and a center position sensor 13. The camera unit 10 pickes up an image of the rear part of a car body, that is, a dead zone.
