PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new 1,2-dithiolene compound useful as a medicine for treating acute neurodegeneration disorders, progressive neurodegeneration disorders and cognitive disorders due to the aging of cerebrum, etc. SOLUTION: A compound of formula I [Ra is a 1-8C alkylene; Rb is a single bond or a 1-6C alkylene; Z is a thiocarbamic acid group of formula II (the 0 atom bonds to Ra; R1 is H, a 1-6C alkyl, an aryl or the like) or a thioamide group of formula III; T is a group of formula IV (R2 and R3 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, a cycloalkyl or the like)].
