SOLUTION: In the filter device 1 provided with a filter drum 10 driven to be rotated, the open part 2k having a large opening from above the liq. surface 4 of liq. to be filtered to the vicinity of a discharge port 6 is provided at an inclined surface part, and the cap member 5 fixed in freely attachably and detachably so as to close the open part 2k without liq. leakage and for enabling solid matter G to fall from the discharge port 6 by the cooperation with a scraping member 5 is provided.
