PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate a work for harvesting mushrooms, when the mushrooms are cultured in a state that plural culture bottles are arranged and loaded on a container, such as a tray-like container, whose upper surface is opened. SOLUTION: This device for automatically harvesting mushrooms comprises a container conveyer 11 for carrying a tray-like container 7 on which plural culture bottles 4 are arranged and loaded and stopping the container 7 at a prescribed position, a hand 27 for holding the culture bottle 4 in the container 7 stopped on the conveyer 11, and a hand-driving means for driving the hand 27. Grown mushrooms 1 elongate from the opening portion of the culture bottle 4. The culture bottle 4 in the container 7 is held and horizontally moved with the hand 27 to separate the mushrooms elongating from the culture bottle from mushrooms in the adjacent culture bottle, and then vertically moved to take out the culture bottle 4 from the container 7.
