PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of strength so as to get along without boring a hole when a heating coil is to be formed in a railroad rail, simplify work and, at the same time, to make it possible to realize such a heating snow- melting method in a tongue rail which has been difficult up to the present. SOLUTION: One or more rolls of a conductive cable 2 are wound on a web side 1A of a basic rail 1 in a railroad rail point section to form a heating coil 3, the necessity of boring a hole is eliminated to facilitate the work in a site, and special tools are not required, The heating coil can be formed not only in the web side of the rail but also be formed in a leg surface, and when the the heating coil is borne, an expansion section of washer, anchorage or the like can be used.
