PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing container, and a lid wherein the deformation and the drift of a packing due to pressure in the housing container and hard to occur, and the reduction of the airtight performance of the packing is not induced even after an excessive load is applied. SOLUTION: This housing container 1 is constituted of an opening main body 5 comprising an opening 2, and a lid fixing edge section 3 which is wound on the outside of the opening 2 and is formed in a manner to curve are project; a ring packing 6 having an elastic restoring force, which is closely attached to the upper total periphery of the lid fixing edge section 3; a lid 10 to close the opening 2, comprising a lid main body 7, an edge superposing section 8 which is formed at an area to be superposed with the lid fixing edge section 3 of the lid main body 7 and is superposed with the lid fixing edge section 3 while pinching the ring packing 6, and a projecting section 9 which is projected to a proper area inside, from the approx. center of the lid fixing edge section 3; and a lid clamping-fixing means 11 comprising a clamping band which makes the ring packing 6 shrink and closely join by pressing a space between the edge superposing section 8 of the lid 10 and the lid fixing edge section 3 of the container main body 5, and places the edge superposing section 8 and the lid fixing edge section 3 under a sealed state, and fixes them.
