PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both side simultaneous processing method of a plate form workpiece and its device which can be cut a work precisely without twisting it, by using a cutter fixed to a tool rest, and another cutter provided movable in the direction of the cutter. SOLUTION: Both processing surfaces Wb of a plate form workpiece W grasped by a chuck claw 14 provided at the front end of a rotary spindle are cutting processed at a time in the condition held between a fixed side cutter 71 provided on a tool rest, and a bendable side cutter 70 provided just opposing to the fixed side cutter 71. A cutting influence to give a twisting to the plate form workpiece W is set off by both processing surfaces Wb. The processing margines t by both cutters 70 and 71 are set even by utilizing the abutting surface 45 of a process standard device provided on the tool rest. The edge of the bendable side cutter 70 is positioned precisely by the moving amount by amplifying the extension and contraction of a piezoelectric element by a stroke amplifying mechanism. |
