PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply distinguish a card commonly used for a plurality of card issuing companies at the respective companies by providing hologram sheets or diffraction grating sheets on at least parts of a surface of a card base, and forming a transparent dye image on at least partial surface of the sheet. SOLUTION: Since dye images are transparent when the images are formed on at least part of a hologram sheet as seen from the surface, the hologram image on its background is seen through the dye image so that an excellent visual sense is exhibited by complicating both the images on an area where the hologram sheet and the dye image are superposed. In the case of manufacturing such a card, a transparent resin layer dyeable with a sublimable dye on the surface of the card with the hologram sheet, the dye image is formed on a dye receptive layer according to a sublimation thermal transfer system, and a transparent protective layer is laminated as needed. Individual information such as a name, a date of his birth, a face photograph and the like is printed on the receptive layer by the transfer system. |
