PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsification composition which is a homogeneous O/W emulsion stable for a long time and having excellent handling property and workability, capable of imparting flexibility and humectancy to cellulose fiber and its product without being mixed with a synthetic surfactant from the viewpoint of safety. SOLUTION: This emulsification composition comprises (A) an oily ingredient capable of imparting flexibility to cellulose fiber and its product, (B) a water-soluble ingredient capable of imparting humectancy, (C) water and (D) an emulsifier. The emulsifier is a partially decomposed product of cereal protein, and has ca. 5,000-ca. 90,000 weight-average molecular weight Mw after the decomposition and has 0.04-0.72 ratio (Mw/Mo) where Mo is a weight-average molecular weight Mw before the decomposition. |
