PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooker which can be used with no trouble even with a battery power supply. SOLUTION: A gas cooker comprises a plurality of burners 23, 36, 37, a gas flow control section 30 for individual burners, a stepping motor 34 for driving the gas flow control section, and a stepping motor drive control section. When a plurality of burners are in the operating state, the drive control section does not operate them simultaneously but operates them sequentially. According to the arrangement, an undue driving power is not required for driving the stepping motors and the gas cooker can be used with no trouble even with a battery power supply because driving power is limited to one stepping motor.
