PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of an exciter. SOLUTION: An exciting coil 9 comprising a self-fusion copper wire is coiled in a cylindrical shape, heated and hardened. A coil bobbin 11 to which the hardened exciting coil 9 is fitted is fitted to an annular groove 8a of a field core 8. An engagement part 11b of the coil bobbin 11 which is press-fitted to an inner circumferential wall of the annular groove 8a is press-fitted between the inner circumferential wall of the field core 8 and a corner part of the hardened exciting coil 9. After the assembly, a molding resin 19 is filled in the annular groove 8a of the field core 8.
