PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition containing a cure accelerator homogeneously dispersed in the resin in stable state, having good workability in use, curable in a short time by hot-pressing and useful for the bonding of plywood, bonded wood, wood fiber board, etc., by mixing a specific cure accelerator into an amino resin. SOLUTION: The objective resin composition is produced by compounding (A) an amino resin preferably selected from among urea resin, melamine resin and urea-melamine co-condensation resin with (B) a cure accelerator produced by including (i) preferably 0.05-20.0 pts.wt. (based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A in solid basis) of one or more substances selected from a persulfate such as ammonium persulfate, a peroxide such as ketone peroxide and an azo compound such as 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane) hydrochloride in (ii) an oily polymer such as liquid paraffin and emulsifying the product with (iii) a surfactant such as polyoxyethylene alkyl ether.
