PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device breaching a carrying line for articles into multiple lines, and in particular to handles articles to be carried even at a high speed before the branch. SOLUTION: A start wheel 12 rotating horizontally and a screw shaft provided in the tangential direction on the input side of the start wheel 12 are structured to catch an article. Large number of catching parts are provided on the periphery of the star wheel 12 to form gear shape, and a suction part is provided at every other catching part. An article held by the catching part with the suction part is made to flow into a carrying out passage 6 at a releasing part 10 on the following stage, and an article held by the catching part without the suction part is made to flow into a carrying out passage 5 at a releasing part 9 at the previous stage. This structure separates articles to be carried at a high speed into two directions at once and carries them.
