PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost of a display plate forming a display device for vehicle by eliminating a display printing process. SOLUTION: On a transmitted illumination name plate 31, a printing layer for patterning characters, graduation or the like 33 is formed together with a printing layer for patterning an illumination control display mark 35 for transmitted illumination. The areas 36A other than the area where the indicator display mark 37 of an automatic transmission(A/T) finisher 36 is put are overlapped at the rear surface of the transmitted illumination name plate 31 and at a position meeting the area where the indicator display mark 37 is put. The illumination control display mark 35 put on the transmitted illumination name plate 31 is subjected to transmitted illumination.
