PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a non-slip tire chain by preparing a plurality of chain sets consisting of a pair of space holding metal bars and several chains having a length crossing the tread part of a tire, which are laid between the metal bars, and mounting each chain set around a tire by use of a fastening rubber with hook. SOLUTION: This tire chain is finely divided in the longitudinal direction to prepare a plurality of chain sets consisting of a lateral pair of space holding metal bars 1, 1 and several chains 2 laid between them are prepared. Each chain set is arranged on the tread part of the tire and mounted and set by mutually connecting the lateral metal bars 1, 1 by use of a fastening rubber with hook 3. According to this, the weight of the chain set to be handled is reduced, so that even a woman can easily set the tire chain.
