PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining accuracy and easily form a complicated form by providing a heat generating body of specified shape on the end face of a tool main body. SOLUTION: A machining tool 10 is fitted to the tool holder 12 of an automatic controlled machine operating the tool along a previously input program, and a foaming body block 40 as a workpiece is held with the machine head of the machine. After making a main switch ON and heating the temperature of a heat generating body 16 at the set temperature, motion of the tool holder 12 and the machine head is controlled along the program, the heat generating body 16 is pressed against the foaming body block 40, the block is worked while melting the contact part, and a sublimation pattern 42 of desired form is manufactured. In this way, heat generating bodies of various forms are prepared, and by meltingly machining a workpiece while exchanging them according to the curved face or the like intended to be machined, material hardly machined such as a foaming body is given with complicated shape, and the machining can be smoothly performed in good machining accuracy.
