PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, stain resistance and weatherability by using a specific organometallic compound or its hydrolyzate and an isocyanate compound as essential components. SOLUTION: An organometallic compound of the formula: R'xM(OR)y-x or its hydrolyzate, an isocyanate compound; a polyester-based, polyacrylic-based or silicone-modified acrylic polyol having an OH value of 15-400 and an average molecular weight of 3,000-30,000, a dimethylsilicone having a functional group selected from an epoxy group, an amino group and an OH group at least on one terminal and an average molecular weight of 500-10,000, and highly hard inorganic particles selected from alumina and silicon carbide with an average particle diameter of 0.1-30μm, are blended to obtain the objective coating composition. In the formula, M is a metal; R is alkyl; R' is alkyl, phenyl or a substituent having a functional group such as epoxy, amino or isocyanate on a terminal; (y) is an oxidation number of the metal; and (x) is a substitution number satisfying 0<x<y.
