PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic fender for a quaywall, by which a buckling deformation shape in the case of compression deformation of a fender body is stabilized and durability is improved while a main-body burst is inhibited. SOLUTION: A fender body 10 is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape by successively laminating an internal layer rubber 1, at least one layer or more of reinforcing layers 2 (reinforcing cord layers) and an external layer rubber 3, and a bottom plate 5 (a mounting fixing plate for fixing the quaywall), an annular flange plate 7a, a bottom plate 6 (a collision-receiving plate mounting plate for installing a collision receiving plate) and an annular flange plate 7b are fastened onto the quaywall and the collision receiving plate through clamping members 8 such as bolts, nuts and the like at both end sections of the fender body 10. A beltlike reinforcing member 11 formed of a thick rubber having excellent abrasion resistance is disposed annularly and formed integrally onto the external surface of the fender body 10, it is preferable that the member 11 is mounted in the region of an interference section (such as approximately the center of the height of the fender body 10) in the clamping members 8 in case of deformation in case of the overcompression of the fender body 10 and in the case of the abnormal berthing (inclined compression) of a ship as a place, where the reinforcing member is fitted, and numbers are not limited.
