agriculture, in particular, amelioration and agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: ripper which may be used for cutting slits has vertical blade with ribs for compacting slit walls. Each rib is mounted on rear side in equally spaced relation to rear cut of tine. Rib is formed as looped part with wide and narrow portions. Narrow portion is oriented to blade rear side and wide arced portion is offset rearward from rear cut. Narrow portion of looped part is joined to cylindrical journal which is provided with straight side splines. Journal is terminated in threaded shank. Looped part is mounted for readjustment in splined bushings through height of blade tine or in horizontal plane by turning each rib around horizontal axes of splined bushings. Splined bushings are arranged in equally spaced relation in vertical plane of tine and are inserted into oval-shaped openings. Chisel made in the form of beveled prism is positioned on lower part of tine. Such construction allows slit walls to be effectively compacted. EFFECT: reduced draft resulting in stable process and increased soil or ground aerating efficiency of channels. 3 cl, 12 dwg
