摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve preservability and lightfastness, and restrain the white turbid of bubbles by forming an intermediate layer interposed between thermal recording layers with the one containing a water polymer of a specific glass transition point as a principal material, and forming the intermediate layer such that its enzyme permeability exhibits a specific value. SOLUTION: The thermal recording material is formed of including at least two or more thermal recording layers and an intermediate layer interposed between the two or more thermal layers on a support body, in which the intermediate layer is formed of the one containing a water polymer of a glass transition point (TG) of 40-150 deg.C as a principal material. Also, the intermediate layer is formed to permit its enzyme permeability at 25 deg.C40%RH to be 10 ml/ m2.hr.atm or lower. In addition, the intermediate layer can be contained with synthetic mica of a water swelling property; this restrains and prevents a material from moving between the layers; however, such synthetic mica of a water selling property used herein is made 100 or more in an aspect ratio. Furthermore, modified polyvinylalcohol containing 70% or more vinylalcohol is preferable for such a water polymer.
