RESERVE-TANK CONFIGURATION OF MOTORCYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To locate a reserve tank having a sufficient capacity by utilizing a space around the engine. SOLUTION: A V-type two-cylinder engine 20 is transversely mounted so as to be supported by a truss frame 12 and a body frame 13. A front cylinder 23 is tilted forward under the truss frame 12. A radiator 30 is disposed forward of and above a cylinder head 23a of the front cylinder 23. A fuel tank 60 is mounted over the truss frame 12. A reserve tank 40 is disposed within the truss frame 12 on the side opposite to that to which a front carburetor 27 above the front cylinder 23 is offset. A main body 41 of the reserve tank 40 extends longitudinally along the truss frame 12 in a backward tilted manner. The reserve tank 40 has an upward-projecting feeding portion 42. Above the truss frame 12, a feeding port (cap 43) at the top of the feeding portion 42 is disposed at the bottom of the fuel tank 60.
