VIBRATION RESTRAINING DEVICE OF RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact vibration restraining device of a railway rolling stock. SOLUTION: A damper communicating via a check valve 5a with a rod side chamber 6a from a head side chamber 4a of a cylinder 3 and having plural passages to an oil tank 7 from the rod side chamber 6a is provided between a bogie and a car body, and the passages to the oil tank 7 from the rod side chamber 6a are formed as two passages at loading time and unloading time. The passages are switched by a high speed solenoid valve 15 by judging whether the passages are loading or unloading on the basis of a signal of an acceleration detecting means for detecting car body lateral directional acceleration and a signal of a rod extension/contraction detecting means for detecting the extension/contraction of a cylinder rod 6 of the damper.
