PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide kitchen furniture and a gas appliance heat insulating board excellent in workability and fire preventiveness. SOLUTION: A gas appliance heat insulating board 7 is composed of a surface metal plate 7e formed in thin box shape opened on one side with vent holes 7a, 7b formed in the upper and lower end parts of the box shape part, heat conductive material 8 stuck to the inner surface of the box shape part of the surface metal plate 7e, and heat insulating material 9 stuck to the inside of the heat conductive material 8. The gas appliance heat insulating board 7 is fitted to the wall surface, placing the open side on the wall surface side so as to be connected with the upper end of a top plate in kitchen furniture.
