PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fence that can be set up and foldable, and is easy to be conveyed and installed by forming a fence member by reinforcing a hole- opened metal sheet with a metallic frame member and intermediate members, which is then pivoted to a base frame and set up via a stay. SOLUTION: A fence member 2 is pivoted to a base frame 3 in a set up and foldable relationship. A hole-opened sheet 5 is a metal sheet with a number of circular or noncircular holes bored in series therein, so that a fence member 2 is formed by reinforcing a metal frame member and intermediate members 9. Pivoted parts of the fence member 2 and base frame 3 are formed by pins, hinges, and the like, and one end of a stay 4 is secured by pivoting means to the intermediate members 9, the other end of which is joined to a clamp provided on the base frame 3 in a manner capable of being set up. It is preferable for the hole opened sheet 5 to utilize a plate material formed by punching out aluminum slag from an aluminum sheet manufactured by continuous casting roll. In this manner, a fence can be obtained, which is casy to be conveyed and installed with sufficient strength.
