PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet curative adhesive capable of realizing, in combination, both properties, one of which is such a sufficient adhesive strength as to be used suitably for a temporary bonding between a lens material and its support especially in manufacturing ocular lenses and as to be able to withstand against a given processing and treating, and another of which is such a good releasability as to enable conducting a forced secession of the lens (material) by a mechanical external force, and to provide a preparing process for contact lenses with profit by using such ultraviolet curative adhesive. SOLUTION: This ultraviolet curative adhesive contains a polyalkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, an alkoxypolyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate, and an ultraviolet polymerization initiator. The polyalkylene glycol di(meth)acrylate and alkoxypolyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate are desirably used in a weight ratio of 15:85 to 85:15.
