PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outlet clearance adjusting device of jaw crusher by which a toggle block is prevented from moving when a foreign matter is caught. SOLUTION: In such adjusting device that between a rear frame 5 whose front face is made a vertical surface 5a and a prism like toggle block 14 made horizontally movable back and forth in front thereof and whose rear face is made a slope 18, an adjusting block 28 whose front face and rear face are made a slope 26 and a vertical surface 27 respectively is provided ascendably and descendably, the central parts of the toggle block 14 and the rear frame 5 are connected by one horizontal lock cylinder 21 of the so-called pair lock system passing through the adjusting block 28, and both ends of the adjusting block and a piston rod 29b of two hydraulic adjusting cylinders 29 installed hung inside both side frames above it are connected.
