PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise of oscillating air pressure generating mechanisms and prolong the service life of air pressure generating sources. SOLUTION: An oscillating air pressure generating mechanism 21, which connects to an air pressure generating source for generating positive and negative air pressures simultaneously and chooses between these positive and negative pressures alternately to output an oscillating air pressure, has an atmospheric air inlet 216b and an excess positively-pressured air outlet 216a. The inlet 216b is provided with an inlet silencer 80 constructed in accordance with the frequency characteristics of noise occurring in the inlet 216b, and the outlet 216a is mounted with an outlet silencer 70 designed in accordance with the frequency characteristics of noise occurring in the outlet 216a.
