PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ease of manufacture and assembly. SOLUTION: An auxiliary pipe 28 is provided in a fuel tank body 10. In the peripheral part of an edge part 14a of a vent pipe 14, one end part 28A of the auxiliary pipe 28 is welded to the side wall part 10A of the fuel tank body 10. The auxiliary pipe 28 is curved into a roughly L shape when viewed from the side, and an extended part 28C is formed aslant upward from the base 28B positioned almost in parallel with the bottom part 10c of the fuel tank body 10. An open end 28D formed at the upper edge of the extended part 28c is set above the oil full level W of the fuel tank body 10. In the auxiliary pipe 28, a small-diameter hole 30 through which fuel can pass is drilled through the lower part or the bottom part of the base 28B.
