<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated with pulsation of suction air by providing a resonance chamber in contact with a suction passage formed radially from the central part of a cylinder head, when the resonance chamber applying an attenuation action of Helmholtz resonator is provided on a cylinder head. SOLUTION: When a piston of a swash plate type variable quantity compressor is reciprocated by an outer drive source, a cooling gas sucked from the outside is compressed and discharged. In this case, a valve plate 6 is interposed between a cylinder block to be a pressure container of the compressor and a cylinder head connected thereto. A suction valve 32 allowing the cooling gas to be sucked into the cylinder by the movement of the piston to the bottom dead center side and a discharge valve 35 boosting and discharging the refrigerant gas by the movement of the piston to the top dead center side are attached to the valve plate 6. A resonance chamber 50 is provided in contact with a suction passage 301 formed radially from the central part of the cylinder head and each resonance chamber 50 is communicated with a suction passage 301 via a pressure introduction part 501.</p> |
