PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent strength deterioration of the root of a lumen for a guide wire with respect to an ultrasonic catheter with the lumen for the guide wire. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic catheter provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 13 inside and having the lumen for the guide wire 15 at the tip of a catheter sheath 2 has a passage for priming and/or flashing 19 communicating the inside of the pipe cavity of the sheath 2 and the inside of the pipeline of the lumen 15. In addition, it is desirable to have a reinforcing member 21 for strongly joining and supporting the pipe line of the guide wire at a tip inside of the pipe cavity of a main body and that the passage 19 communicates the inside of this member 21. |
