PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an isocyanurate ring-containing polyisocyanate which is scarcely not colored. SOLUTION: This method for producing an isocyanurate ring-containing polyisocyanate comprises trimerizing an isocyanate compound in the presence of a catalyst. Therein, dissolved oxygen is maintained in a concentration of <=1 wt.ppm before or during the reaction. It is preferable to use the combination of potassium fluoride with one or more compounds selected from (1) a polyethylene oxide compound, (2) a quaternary ammonium salt and (3) a phosphonium compound.
