PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a friction clutch device excellent in the point of workability mounting in an ordinary vehicle so that correlation between interposing force of a facing and hydraulic cylinder device or the like can be easily and stably obtained, by pressing a pressure plate toward a flywheel so as to generate the interposing force of the facing. SOLUTION: Since interposing force by a facing 12b of a clutch disk 12 is generated by applying external force in a point of force of a lever mechanism 13d by a hydraulic cylinder device 18 or the like, a friction clutch device is excellent in the point of workability mounting in an ordinary vehicle, and a value of a current which must be supplied to the hydraulic cylinder device 18 for adjusting the interposing force by the facing 12b to an arbitrary value is almost fixed regardless of a degree of wearing amount of the facing 12b, and correlation between the interposing force by the facing 12b and an oil pressure or the like of the hydraulic cylinder device 18 can be easily and stably obtained.
