HEAT-INSULATING PAPER CUP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat insulation with a simple constitution, and to improve the sanitary aspect and disposability by fitting a heat-insulation cover with an inwardly curled part provided on a lower edge and with an inwardly folded part provided on an upper edge to an outer surface of a container body part. SOLUTION: A heat-insulation cover 2a with an inwardly curled part 22 formed on a lower edge and an inwardly folded part 23 formed on an upper edge is placed on an outer surface of a body part 11 of an inverted-conical paper cup 1 comprising the body part 11 with an outwardly curled part 13 formed on an opening edge and a bottom part 12 by adhering an inner surface of the folded part 23 to an adhesion part 3 below the outwardly curled part 13 of the paper cup body 1, and a space 4 is formed over the whole length in the vertical direction of the outer surface of the body part 11 between the body part 11 of the paper cup body 1 and an inner surface of a body part 21 of the heat-insulating cover 2a. The excellent heat insulation is ensured in the paper cup, and the pollution in the sanitary aspect and during the disposal can be avoided since no polystyrene foam or plastic films are used for heat insulation material.
