摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a ropeway braking system capable of avoiding excessive swinging caused by sudden stopping of a carrier and a control device using this method. SOLUTION: A control method and a control device of a ropeway braking system detect a situation of a carrier at energency time such as a towing rope 8 and a balancing rope rupture and loosen from the advancing direction and an operation speed in operation of the carrier, change a braking method by plural support rope braking devices 26 according to this detected carrier situation, and control the actuating timing of the respective support rope braking devices 26 according to the situation of the carrier. Swinging of the carrier is avoided in a situation having the possibility of causing excessive swinging of the carrier by sudden stopping.
