PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify molding and to secure a smooth feeling with no bottoming feeling to a load with a simple structure in a cushioning structure of a vehicle interior trim component such as an armrest pad. SOLUTION: This cushioning structure of an interior trim for a vehicle has a core material 21; a skin material 25 made of an elastic material covering the front face side of the core material 21 through a hollow part; and plural spacer ribs 26 integrally formed on the rear face side of the skin material 25, having tips projectingly extending toward the core material 21. Recessed and projecting parts 23, 22 contactable with the tips of the spacer ribs 26 are formed on the front face side of the core material 21. In an unloaded state, the tips of all the spacer ribs 26 are in contact with the projecting parts 22, while inclined faces 24 are formed from the projecting parts 22 to the recessed parts 23.
