PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification device which is capable of easily counting the number of times of intermittent drive by a notification means regardless of the number of times. SOLUTION: Different actuation states of an actuation device such as a printer are represented in terms of a series of the numbers of times of intermittent drive to be performed by a notification means such as a display means or a voice generation means. At the same time, the intermittent drive period of a series of intermittent drives to alternately drive and stop the notification means is prolonged or shortened following an increase or a decrease in the number of times of intermittent drive showing the actuation state of the actuation device.
