PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively turn over a page of a bankbook irrespective of a nature or paper quality of each of interlayer sheets of the bankbook in a bankbook page turning-over apparatus using a turning-over roll. SOLUTION: The bankbook page turning-over apparatus for turning over a page of a bankbook 100 by rotating a turning-over roller TR provided at a home position in a predetermined direction to bulge an uppermost interlayer sheet 101 brought into contact with the roller of the bankbook 100 existing in a turning-over region, jumping it up, then conveying the bankbook in the predetermined direction, and inverting the jumped interlayer sheet comprises a lifting belt 14 for applying an upward force in cooperation with the rotation of the roller at a leading end of the interlayer sheet jumped up by the roller.
