<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the water purifying tank capable of effectively utilizing the water purifying material such as phosphorus adsorbent over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In the water purifying tank having the structure in which the water quality is purified by passing water through the vessel 8 having a water inlet 9 and a water outlet 10 and in which a granular or bulk phosphorus adsorbent 11 is packed at its inside by interposing the water inlet 9 and discharging the water from the water outlet 10 after passing the water through the packed layer of the adsorbent 11, the purifying tank is constituted in multistage in the state in which a pool 13 is formed between the packed layer and the packed layer of the phosphorus adsorbent by dividing the inside of the vessel 8 into multistage with the tray 12 consisting of a net plate or a porous layer, etc., and packing the phosphorus adsorbent 11 on the tray 12, and also the back washing pipes 15 for spraying pressurized air from the hole provided at the pipe are disposed between each step tray 12 and tray 12 so that the bubbles generated by spraying the pressurized air hits directly or indirectly each step packed layer of the phosphorus adsorbent 11.</p> |
