PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coating film from becoming thick in the vicinity of the boundary of the original part and the repaired part by causing the substrate to be exposed and cleaned, applying a coating material prepared from by mixing a coating material containing a coloring structure with a coating material having the same color as that of the substrate in a specified ratio, and finishing with the coating material containing the coloring structure. SOLUTION: A color base 12 is applied to an ABS plate 11 and dried, and a base coat 13 containing a coloring structure is applied to the color base 12, dried, and subjected to wet sanding with paper. Then, the surrounding part of a repaired part B is polished with a compound to the level of the color base 12 after cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, the polished part is coated with a repair base coat 15 prepared by mixing 100 wt.pts. coating material containing a coloring structure with 15:1-4:1 wt.pts. color base coating material. Finally, a base coat 13 is applied while adjusting its color tone to that of the repaired part B and dried.
