PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge for decoration and its mounting method, capable of easily mounting an inner hinge while keeping its function as a door opening and closing mechanism with the low cost to improve the apperance of a trim. SOLUTION: A hinge for decoration comprises a fender side hinge body part 1, a door side hinge body part 2, a link plate 3, a hinge and a sliding base 5, and an angle of the door side hinge body part 2 to the fender side hinge body part 1 is not restricted by the action the link plate 3 and its hinge even when a door is half-opened, whereby the door side hinge body part 2 is slide on a rail part 5B of the sliding base 5 fixed on a door part D by a distance d1 in the direction shown by an arrow Y. Accordingly the opening of a door is not inhibited by the interference of the door side hinge body part 2 with the fender by letting the door side hinge body part 2 escape to an opposite side by sliding the same on the sliding base 5 (of the rail part 5B) even when an edge of the door is entered inside vehicle of a fender side.
