PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure acknowledged as a class-A fire door by providing grooves between multiple volcanic glass fiber plates stuck to both faces of a paulownia material, and applying a fireproof paint to the volcanic glass fiber plates and the surfaces of the grooves. SOLUTION: Multiple volcanic glass fiber plates 2 are stuck at intervals to both faces of a paulownia material 1 serving as the core material of a fire door, grooves 4 are provided between the fiber plates 2, and a fireproof paint 5 is applied to the fiber plates 2 and the surfaces of the grooves 4. The paint 5 is applied to not only the fiber plates 2 but also the surfaces of the grooves 4 to prevent flames from getting into contact with the fiber plates 2 and the paulownia material 1 even after a decorative plywood 6 on the heated face side is burnt down, thus the spreading time of a fire is extended. When heat is transferred to the u material 1 through the fiber plates 2, the water contained in the paulownia material 1 is vaporized to become steam which is released through the grooves 4, and the explosion of steam is prevented, thus a structure acknowledged as a class-A fire door can be formed.
