PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC SILVER SALT COMPOSITION AND HEAT DEVELOPING PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of decreasing drying duty and improving productivity in preparation of the subject composition by dehydrating an organic silver salt to be a specified water content before drying the salt and so obtaining dry powder. SOLUTION: This method comprises a dehydrating process preceding to drying process of an organic silver salt (e.g. silver behenate, silver arachidate, silver stearate) composition to obtain dry powder wherein water content of the dehydrated resultant is decreased <=400 wt.% and so the resultant is preferably in a state of wet cake by applying preferably centrifugal dehydration in a condition of centrifugal force G>=500 where formula G=1.119×10-5×r×N2 [r is a vessel radius (cm); N is number of vessel revolution (rpm) ] is satisfied. Pressing dehydration is also preferably applied as the dehydration process.
