mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: installation is designed for testing of plastic tubes for their resistance to fast spreading of cracks. Installation has holder with mandrel for fixing the tube under test and impact mechanism with striker. In order to control striker speed and power of impact on tube, impact mechanism is made in the form of pneumatic accumulator with guide branch pipe and piston drive and its piston is coupled by tie-rod to lever-type grip positioned in pneumatic accumulator cavity. Grip serves for moving the striker arranged in branch pipe and keeping it in upper position. Grip is protected against spontaneous release by means of bushing. Pneumatic accumulator cavity is sealed with gasket. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
