PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially reduce a seal defect rate by a method wherein an abutting surface of a heat seal head is inclined smoothly in compliance with an inclination of an opening of a container even in case that the opening of the container is inclined. SOLUTION: A heat seal device is made such that an abutting surface of a heat seal head 1 is abutted against an outer surface of a seal member 6 of which inner surface is covered by a thermal adhering resin film. This seal member 6 is pressed against the circumferential edge of opening of a container 5 while the seal member 6 is being heated and then the seal is finally adhered to it, thereby the opening of the container 5 is sealingly closed with the seal member 6, wherein the heat seal head 1 is fixed to a shank 2 through a gimbals mechanism 10. |
