PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortably used detergent composition which has a high stability and massaging property and imparts no tightness to the skin after washing. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) a copolymer which has a cationic group and a crosslinking structure in the molecule, a 0.5 wt.% hydrogel of which has a viscosityη1 at a shear rate of 1 sec-1 and a viscosityη2 at a shear rate of 10 sec-1 satisfying 0.3<=η1<=20 (Pa.sec), 0.01<=η2<=5 (Pa.sec) andη1>η2, (B) a surfactant selected from nonionic surfactants, anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants and (C) a polyol.
