PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply form a protective film without requiring a new protective film agent by forming an annular projecting part protruding in a can axial direction to a can bottom, then applying a lubrication film on the annular projecting surface to be reformed and enlarging a lubrication oil remained on the annular projecting part surface. SOLUTION: An annular projecting part 2 protruding in a can axial direction for reinforcing is formed to the can bottom of an aluminum can 1 of a bottomed cylindrical shape. A lubrication oil 40 is supplied to this annular projecting outer circumferential face 2a from a nozzle 41, a lubrication film is coated on the annular projecting part surface by a lubrication film coating device 4. Here, while the aluminum can 1 is rolled on a guide base plate by a transfer device, a silicon sponge, etc., extending in a transfer direction is abutted on annular projecting outer circumferential face 2a, the lubrication oil is applied. Successively, the aluminum can 1 is sent in a working device 5, the annular projecting part is reformed. Next, by passing the aluminum can 1 in a protective film coating device 6, the protective film is formed in the same mechanism as the lubrication film coating device 4.
