PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily ensure a mount space in such a manner that the space is prevented from protruding rearward by a method wherein a first substrate box of a plurality of substrate boxes to be mounted to a structural plate is attached to one side of the lower part of the structural plate at a portion, on the front side of which a winning ball guide passage is not formed. SOLUTION: A display control substrate cover 98 is disposed on the rear side of a structural board 60 of the ball game machine so as to cover the rear side of an LCD display constituting a special variable display device, while a first winning ball collecting cover body 90, in which a winning ball guide passage is formed to guide a winning ball, which has entered a winning hole, is attached to the periphery of the LCD display. And at the lower part of the body 90, an excess ball passage to guide a winning ball to a lower plate is formed near the center on the flat side thereof, and a winning ball guide passage is formed on one side of the excess ball passage. A power source unit box is disposed in a space on the other side of the excess ball passage, while a main substrate box 350 for housing a main substrate to control the action of a game is attached removably to the rear side of the unit box.
