PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning/antifungal property-imparting agent, which is excellent in cleaning effect and permits the surface of an article after cleaning to show a continuous antifungal property, by dispersing silver fine particles in water. SOLUTION: This cleaning/antifungal property-imparting agent is obtained by dispersing, in water, 0.001 to 1 wt.% of silver fine particles having an average particle size of 100 nm or below, abrasive particles having a concentration of 1 to 50 times that of the silver fine particles and a particle size of 10 to 80μm, an anionic surface active agent, a cationic surface active agent, a nonionic surface active agent or an amphoteric surface active agent having a concentration of 0.1 to 50 times that of the silver fine particles, and a condensed phosphate having a concentration of 0.01 to 10 times that of the silver fine particles. The cleaning/antifungal property-imparting agent is applied onto the surface of an article, and the applied surface is rubbed to impart the cleaning/ antifungal property thereto. In this way, the -SH group in the enzyme proteins of all fungi is broken through oxidation, or the -Scrosslinking bond in proteins is broken through oxidation, thereby causing the odor of sebum, the odor of sweat or other odorous components to be eliminated.
