PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition excellent in filling properties in a thin-wall part without causing defects such as voids and excellent in crack resistance by toughening and further in reliability such as moisture resistance. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing a liquid resin component prepared by carrying out compounding so as to contain (A) an epoxy resin, (B) an inorganic filler and (C) an acrylic defoaming agent with a liquid curing agent component obtained by carrying out compounding so as to contain (D) 4-methylhexahydrophthalic acid as a curing agent and (E) an imidazole-based compound as a curing accelerator. The composition is useful as a material for casting coils.
