PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame resistant rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin composition low in volatility, having excellent flame resistance and heat stability, excellent in processability and mechanical properties suitable for parts of household electric appliances or the like by making the composition include a specific amount of a non-halogenated thermoplastic polycarbonate or the like to a rubber-reinforced non-halogenated styrene-based resin. SOLUTION: This flame resistant rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of (A) the non-halogenated rubber reinforced styrene based resin such as acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene terpolymer or the like, 5-25 pts.wt. of (B) the non-halogenated thermoplastic polycarbonate resin such as bisphenol-A type polycarbonate or the like, (C) an aromatic phosphate ester expressed by formula (R1-R8 are each H or the like, in proviso, that at least one of R1-R4 is a lower alkyl; X is a coupling means or the like; n is 0 or 1; m is 0-5), [preferably, tris(2,6-dimethyphenyl) phosphate], (D) a novolac type phenol resin and (E) an impact strength improving agent.
